Celebrating Our Wonderful Teacher Aides
This week, we proudly celebrate Teacher Aide Week and recognise the incredible contribution our teacher aides make to Maleny State School.
Our teacher aides are an essential part of Team Maleny. Every day, they work alongside our teachers to support student learning, inclusion, wellbeing and engagement. They provide encouragement when a student needs another attempt, reassurance when things become challenging and celebrate the many successes, both big and small, that occur every day.
The impact of a wonderful teacher aide is difficult to measure. Sometimes it is helping a student finally understand a concept they have been working hard on; sometimes it is supporting a child to regulate and return to learning; and sometimes it is simply being the trusted adult a student needs at that moment. Quite simply, Team Maleny would not be Team Maleny without our wonderful teacher aides. On behalf of the entire Maleny State School community, thank you!
