What is QParents?
QParents is an online portal that is free to use, and allows parents to:
- view attendance details, positive behaviour information, report cards, invoices and a history of payments
- provide digital consent, reasons for unexplained absences and to notify the school of future absences
- view and pay school invoices online
- update student details including residential and postal address as well as medical conditions.
QParents is now enabled for Maleny State School.

Managing consent via paper forms can now be a thing of the past with the arrival of a new Consent Management module!
The following digital consent management forms are currently available:
- Excursion Permission
- State School Consent
- Online Service Consent
- Student Resource Scheme Participation Agreement Form.
The new module is accessible via OneSchool (School management/ records system) and allows schools to create consent requests and notify parents/guardians through QParents.
It uses the most up-to-date and relevant information from OneSchool and QParents, while also ensuring adequate governance and security features are established.
