Age group/s targeted:
Since 2025 the students that are offered places come from Years 4-6. As there are limited places available, interest in the area, classroom behaviour and teacher recommendations play a big part in the selection process if there are more students that places available.

Specific activity details (what will kids be involved in):
Every year a different selection of robotic coding challenges are planned. There are a wide variety of possible activities that can be completed. Amongst others, music machines, safety deposit boxes, the A-Maze-ing challenge and the most popular the Sumo Robot battles are scheduled and conducted over the years. As many students often come back each year, and as such challenges are rotated to provide a wide coverage of skills.

When available we also like to be involved in interschool competitions. Details of the specific events we intend to go to will be released at the invite or in additional letters when we confirm. These events are typically weekend events over a single day.
How often does the club meet:
We meet once per week for a 1.5 hour session. Previously, this has been on a Thursday afternoon based on the availability of staff to run the cubs. This is subject to change. It is confirmed when invites roll out. Club runs for most of the year until late term 4.
How to join the club (when old enough):
Invites come out early in the year in Term 1. If interested keep a look out for the invitations when they are offered to these year levels. Enquiries can be made to Mr Greig ajgre2@eq.edu.au for more information.
