Dear Parents and Guardians
I have attached a letter (
Lockdown Update 1) with full details of lockdown information currently in place and will inform you by email as this information changes.
I will send further details Monday afternoon in relation to exactly what our learning from home options will be.
A snapshot of Lockdown important information:
- a three-day lockdown, commencing from 4pm Saturday 31 July 2021 until 4pm Tuesday 3 August 2021
- schools open for children of essential workers and vulnerable students only
- arrangements will be made for those of our students learning from home to commence remote learning from Tuesday 3 August
- staff will now be required to wear face masks at school
- students at primary school do not need to wear face masks
- all volunteer work will cease while lockdown is enforced until further notification
- parents and carers that must enter the school grounds are required to wear a mask
- please phone the office rather than call in person
- Prep parents (and those with special exemption) will be permitted to accompany their children to the classroom but not enter classrooms similar for pick up arrangements
- we ask all other parents not to enter the school grounds
- all parents are requested to socially distance and not gather in groups while waiting for students
I would like to sincerely thank our school community for again supporting a learning from home model and urge you to please stay COVID safe we have done this before successfully and will do so again. This is a challenging time for staff, students and parents and may I say the cooperation from all groups in previous lockdowns was exceptional, we look forward to a similar collaboration.
