"The Haunted House"

What do Ghosts, Rock’n’roll, Chains, Lullabies, skeletons, Magic, Goblins, Dancing, Bullying and Friendship have in common? These are the essential elements of the Children’s Musical Spooktacular ‘The Haunted House’. This funny, fast paced, enchanting Musical delves into the issues and aspects of bullying with-in a social group.
The storyline which is set in an old creaky house known as ‘Gribble Manor’ explores the interaction between the four main ghosts, Gribble, Facefull, Idleboanz and Pandamoanium. From the outset one ghost’s bullying ways have made existence in ‘The Haunted House’ for other ghosts unhappy and intolerable. With the help of The Enchantress Atherielle these inhabitants   learn how to work together to encourage tolerance, respect, self-confidence and friendship.
Auditions: 
 
There will be opportunities for over one hundred students as actors, dancers and singers. Auditions for the major roles will take place during week 3 of Term 1. Students will be asked to sing part of the song ‘Welcome to the Haunted House’ will be given a few pages of the script to present.

  • Wednesday 30th July 6.30pm
  • Thursday 31st July  6.30pm
                 (Term 3 Week 3 )
