Musical kicks into gear in Term 2

The cast members who make up the characters Atherielle, Hocus, Pocus and the house ghosts with Director David Crewe.
Well done to all students preparing for ‘The Haunted House’, our school musical to be presented on July 30 and 31. Last term many dedicated children spent lunch breaks learning lines of scenes, dances, and  songs. I’d like to thank parents Sally Carn, Judi Coey, Karen Gane, and Jodi Hamlyn Harris,  and teachers Deb Darcy, Sarsha Anthony, and Anne Cougan   for helping with the students ready for the next phase of performance preparation,…that is, putting it all together!
I also would like to thank John Campiao and Douglas Bailey who both spent time over the past few months giving me ideas for our set design.
After School Rehearsals have begun
Last Tuesday our Actors and Singers began the After School rehearsals with Director David Crewe. Next Wednesday Principal Dance teacher Samantha Byrne from 5678Performing Arts will be working with our students working on the dances she has choreographed for The Haunted House. She will return to supervised instruction again on 21 May and at our first weekend rehearsal 22 June.
After school rehearsals for Dancers will begin in WEEK 5 on TUESDAY 20 May and will run from 3.00pm- 3.30pm.
